27th Conference on Archaeology and Cultural Heritage in the Arab World Sustaining Cultural Heritage: Challenges and Future Strategies.
It gives us great pleasure to welcome you to Doha on the occasion of the 27th Session of the Conference on Archaeology and Cultural Heritage in the Arab World, organized by Qatar Museums, in cooperation with the Arab Organization for Education, Culture and Science (ALECSO).
Convened under the theme “Sustainability of Cultural Heritage: Challenges and Future Strategies,” this session underscores the continued commitment to strengthening the protection of cultural heritage as an essential pillar of sustainable development within the Arab region.
Through scientific sessions, strategic dialogue, the exchange of expertise, and institutional cooperation, the Conference constitutes an effective platform for the formulation of policies and frameworks that advance the role of cultural heritage in international cooperation, capacity-building, knowledge development, and professional exchange.
In parallel, we are pleased to welcome youth participants from across the Arab States to the Arab Youth Forum for Sustainable Heritage, held under the theme “Empowering Arab Youth for a Sustainable Heritage.” The Forum reflects the shared vision of Qatar Museums and ALECSO to build the capacities of emerging cultural leaders and to enhance their contribution to the protection and promotion of Arab cultural heritage.
This session embodies a collective endeavor to safeguard our common heritage and to transform it into a source of creativity, knowledge, and sustainable progress, thereby reaffirming its standing as a cornerstone for balanced and enduring development.
